all the while urgent

 

the rapids,

slow vision,

and get there,

 

still earlier 

to creature

like iâmchúi,²

 

as insect?

“how noisy”

it is to be 

 

unstressed

then stretched out—

 

a shruti

iâm-tuning

to torrents

 

still spreading

like reef tide

embedded

 

as “eco-”

is shoved down—

a long sound—

 

and meshed up

to networks,

 

a live line

                                                          i call you.

                                                          you hurry with no way to come.
